IPL 4 Delhi Daredevils Teams Players List is placed here. Delhi Daredevils biggest purchase was that of Irfan Pathan who, like his brother Yusuf almost touched the $2 million mark. Delhi, who had earlier retained only Virender Sehwag got in Pathan for $1.9 million and then got in their original opening batsman, Dave Warner. Warner cost them $750,000.
Morne Morkel, who had interestingly made life miserable for Gautam Gambhir, Delhi’s former captain came in for $475,000 while another all-rounder selected was James Hopes for $350,000.
The surprise purchase was that of Aaron Finch ($300,000) but his purchase price suggests that there were others who wanted to buy him as well.
The wicket-keeper that they went for was Naman Ojha, who cost them $270,000. It looked like a surprising purchase at that time but Ojha satisfies two roles in one, he is their lone wicket-keeper, which helps but also means that they can open with Ojha if they are falling short of the Indian players in the team.
